A well written poem which I gathered from islamicpoems.blogspot.com
Touches my heart and hope it does the same to those who passes by.

Imagine Your Death!

Imagine yourself after you pass away
Imagine your grave through night and through day
Wishing that you did not do as they say
Wishing that you had got up and had prayed.

Imagine, my friends, the day that you died
Imagine all of the tears that they cried
Remember how it felt when your body was tied
Remember how it felt in the grave which you lied.

Imagine the day you'll be called to account
Imagine the sum to which your life will amount
Think for a moment of the deeds which you mount
Think for a moment how much they will count.

What will they say of you when you are dead?
What will they say, what will be said?
Will they speak of all the poor who you fed?
Will they remember all the Qu'ran that you read?

Think not of them, but of Allah, Lord of mankind and jinn
Think of Allah when tempted to sin
Think of the paradise which you will dwell in
Don't wait till later to think what might have been.

.. what comes next in this life ?

nothing but d.e.a.t.h

it's way past midnight
my heart sinking
my heart shrinking
my heart throbbing
my heart aching
my heart crying

then I kept staring at the ceiling
and kept repeating the verse

"la illaha IllAllah"

wholeheartedly

for I fear to leave this world without this verse
for I fear to not being able to say this verse at the end of my life
for my fear of what lies beneath the underground
after death

FOR I FEAR ONLY ALLAH

O Allah

Before I answered your final call
I am thankful and grateful to you
for I am truly blessed with all the good things you have granted to me

O Allah

I am afraid if I ever being ungrateful
even for the tiniest things it may seem
for its happened because of YOUR blessings

"Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing)."
( سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #185)

NO ONE EVER READY FOR ANYTHING

PURIFY YOUR HEART

LA ILLA HA ILLALLAH, MUHAMMADUR RASULLULLAH..
~a reminder to myself and to those passers-by to this blog...

we have nothing
we own nothing
yet
we desire so many things

what we have
is HIS
what we own
is HIS

all belongs to HIM

and to HIM we shall return

purify your heart
and say this verse

~wassalam~
